The Role

We’re looking for a Unity Developer to work with our Creative Director on rapid prototyping ideas for our next generation mass-participation games at sports and live events. The role will be a 2 month contract initially, there may be potential to extend.

About Us

Piing makes games for crowds. From 30 players racing in a fanzone at Formula 1, to 50,000 fans taking penalty kicks in a stadium at the World Cup, our games engage audiences worldwide. We’re at the heart of major events including 4x Premier League teams, FIFA, F1, Formula E, Wimbledon, Glastonbury and outdoor cinemas.

We are now building our next generation of mass-participation games and looking for a Unity Dev to work with our Creative Director to create fun, delight and moments of wow at scale.

About You

  • Experience: 2+ years of Unity experience. Ideally casual / fun games

  • Creativity: ability to take a games idea and run with it, creating a rapid prototyping to see how the game would feel to play and watch

  • Unity: ability to create rapid prototype is key, some experience in processing 3D models is useful

  • DOTS: some experience with DOTS would be useful, but not essential

  • Fun: our values are to focus on the fun and work on the wow - can you create moments of delight?

What We Value

  • Your Input and Ideas: We want to learn from you and value your input, suggestions and ideas. You'll have the freedom to make significant improvements to our processes and products. We listen and take on board everyone’s input, regardless of their job description.

  • Fun and Passion: We love what we do and we want to have fun while doing it. We believe that enjoying the process leads to better outcomes.

Next Steps

  1. Please email jobs@piing.events with your CV and some examples of your work.

  2. If we decide to move forward with your application, we will reach out to arrange a call with our CTO Jamie and a member of our team.
